Job Summary

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy construction equipment to support site development, utility installation, grading, excavation, and material handling activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining productivity, jobsite safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely to support jobsite operations.
Follow site plans and instructions to complete work accurately.
Perform daily inspections before and after use.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Identify and avoid overhead and underground hazards.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must have 2+ years of experience as an equipment operator.
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good vision and hearing (with or without correction).
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work well with others.
Basic writing skills to accurately complete forms and reports.
